So its a new yr and in theory im losing weight(yeah bet no one else thought to have that resolution)Im doing ok,lost 6lbs last week, gained 5 back tonight when i ate a huge piece of cheesecake. :)
Last yr was the worst ever.Finances, Steves trip to the emergency room, 3 of my favorite patients died within two months of each other and our teenager lost most of her brain cells.
Jen decided it was much to restrictive living at home and moved to the dorms.(restrictive= curfew of midnight... horrible parents). The house is much calmer and has much less drama in it but its hard not having a 'complete' family.Doing our Christmas and new yrs traditions with only four kids sucked.
Planning our yrs camping and vacations is weird knowing she wont be coming and then theres things like tonight. It was a YW/RS meeting... great speaker and i mostly managed to ignore all the moms with their daughters.Michaela isnt old enough to go so it was just me and my neighbor who also has no kids old enough yet.
So,im adjusting to being a broken family, not well lol. The other kids are mostly happy that she's moved to the dorms. They know i struggle with missing her and have really been incredible.Even Stephen the demon lol, He makes me laugh with his crazy sense of humor and knows just when i need a hug.Adam has always been a rock.. just solid and good.He bore his testimony in church for the first time last week and if i hadnt been in tears i may have stood up and said'hey thats MY kid' lol.. ok i prob wouldn't but i was so proud of him.The youngest two are just happy mom has much more time to spend with them.
So as hard as it is for me,its also been a blessing to get closer to my other kids and to not have to watch her make stupid choices all in the name of free agency.
Financially things are hard, but at least they are for everyone and we have never NOT been on a budget. We are very blessed that Ryan has a good job and we live in a great neighborhood with incredible friends. I never planned to go through this stuff... MY kids were supposed to turn out perfect lol.... mmmmmmmmm i guess im not supermom after all**sigh**

Of COURSE you're super-mom! It's not your fault if the princess decides to check out life outside the castle. Growing pains, stretching her wings, learning the hard way...she'll come back around. You raised her well and gave her a great foundation to stand on. She'll land safely, I'm sure. :-)
The princess is never gonna find her prince charming if she continues on this path is the problem.she's gonna end up marrying some dorky toad and living happily never after!
