wait, its STILL monday? oh for hecksake its been at least 3 yrs since dh left me with all the kids.two are sick and the rest insist on injuring themselves.Its only the 3rd of august and ive used up all my compassion for the month :) Im just gonna leave the first aide kit open,the medicines out.. kinda self serve type thing.. way more efficient*sigh*. The latest injury is joshua's thumb.they were cutting out coupons(yes as a matter of fact we do get SIX sunday papers lol)when he decided it was way more fun to use the guillotine type paper cutter.The fun ended when he sliced down the middle of his thumb nail.Not to be outdone his sister informed me that she has a very painfull hangnail on HER thumb.Adam isnt ill or injured yet.. ...hes just moping around bemoaning the fact that he cant find the key to the car,im pretty sure its about to morph into full out depression.. especially if he has to WALK to work.. oh the horror.
Dh just called from his office,telling me its cooler up there--thats great,i love living in the desert in august!!!???!!!!!! yep,cant beat 118*, im loving it grrrrrrrrrrr.The kids are fighting over who gets the 'good' scissors(ha they all came from the dollar store). Im about to force them all outside to play.Ive considered tossing michaela into the pool that she refuses to even look at since she got swimmers ear.Steve just emerged from his pit,informed me that hes feeling better and has ventured into the shower. Im not sure if i should be relieved or worried.At least when hes sick hes not doing things on his dumb list.......in fact thinking about it,he hasnt dyed his hair purple,blown anything up,tortured the neighbors,shown me his ab,petted his shoe or screeched like a raptor in at least 4 days...mmmmmmmmm maybe this fever thing wasnt so bad-now just gotta get him to cough on the other kids :) Is it STILL monday?
