The funny farm is one less :(

Halloween was a blast with a trunk or treat at the ward,Ryan and i both dressed up and the kids were suitably horrified :) It was so much fun and the kids got a ton of candy as usual. This yr Michaela went trick or treating without an older sibling :( Of course i read them the rules and consequences of not listening lol. Allie and Michaela were home first since they were cold and they had heard that mom was getting a gift delivered :)
One of my cute little activity day girls gave me a kitten, from a litter that had been abandoned at the ward right before the Halloween party.Since dad doesnt always get as excited about these things as i do we had to be creative.Katy reminded me that its rude to give gifts back and voila! So on the way home i reminded Ryan of how much i loved him,got the dinner ready while the boys passed out more candy and then Dan and Sharri came over with our little Tinkerbelle. Several other moms in the ward are also in trouble with their husbands :)
So we now have a beautiful calico kitten that Michaela is mothering to death. Its like a real baby and constantly needs attention, food or sleep. Finally Michaela handed her to me last night cos she wouldnt stop meowing, despite being fed, watered and placed in the litter box repeatedly.Nothing was wrong she just needed to be snuggled to sleep lol. So while she showered i snuggled the little hairball .
Lucy went to her adoptive family yesterday. We have tried to breed her without success and since the cat stopped nursing she has been so sad. Her new home includes a very handsome boy pug named chuckles. Its an open adoption and we already have had email from them and pictures are coming today :)
We tried to get George up to Jenny but since she doesnt speak to us(she has found a new 'upgraded' family lol) we had to resort to fighting over which kid had to text her. No answer, and so Ryan called Troy where shes apparantly just moved to,still no answer so George is staying. Our new kitten is actually his niece.(try to follow this kitty geneology) George has a brother named sargeant snickerdoodle (poor kitty),he in a vain attempt to prove his nongayness has fathered two litters of babies. So george likes to play with tink, which is unnusual since george isnt the 'warm fuzzy' type of cat.Chip is afraid of the kitten and runs to his boy whenever tinkerbell is allowed on the floor (josh and michaela carry it everywhere).
We went to the temple on friday, with Randy and his family. Its hard to believe he will be leaving on his mission soon. The priests have already figured out that chad is next, then jake then.......... Adam :( He has a yr until he puts his papers in but im sure gonna miss him.Hes excited to go and its fun to listen to him and Randy talk about their missions.
Ryan is up in Salt lake for work again. We miss him so much.Michaela blessed him tonight that he would be "able to concentrate on his work and not think about us and our new kitty" lol. Im going up on Thursday so we can go to the Ogden temple when Dave and Danielle get their family sealed to their two adopted little girls.Im excited to have all our old friends together-we all lived on the same street almost 20 yrs ago and have kept in touch .Kyle leaves for his mission at the end of the month so it will be nice to see him before he leaves. This concludes our weekly update on life at the funny farm, where we might not have it all together .....but together we have it all!
