Trying to catch up is like trying to herd cats

Holyhannah! its been almost two weeks since ive posted... every time i get a min to blog i end up reading everyone elses! Amy and Aaron came down in their RV and we all got to go to Vegas in it,that was fun!The wax museum, the M and M factory and build a bear were big hits. The boys helped Jayden and Michaela make bunnies which they named giggles and happy. We went up to Dixie rock and ended up seeing more friends from up North--We sure miss being in the Cimarron ward.
While i was working crazy hours in the ER the kids helped out with Jayden.. nothing is cuter than seeing teenage boys play with a 3 yr old.. Adam and Steve love playing barbies or puzzles with her. Josh and Michaela help her run off her energy on the trampoline and help with cookie making. Thankfully my schedule is down to just a couple of days a week. Ryan and i are going to help at grad night again, its hard to believe we have another one graduating! He got awesome ACT scores so scholarships arent a problem but thankfully this one likes living at home and plans on going to Dixie until he leaves on his mission. This last school yr has been really nice with no drama, no secret cell phones, or secret lives.
Last week we went to Dick Reeps funeral. Its hard to imagine him gone.He was such a nice man. Makes me realize all the more how precious and fragile life is.
Another friday night with a house full of kids.... the teenagers are playing a game and the younger kids are making cupcakes.. i love the sound of happy kids.Josh is going to make a music video.. all the kids will be in it and steve will play the guitar while the others lip synch to a wierd al song... should be entertaining:) Since we are signed up for cleaning the church tomorrow im hoping we dont end up with grouchy tired kids tomorrow.

Michaela has her YW new beginnings coming up.. shes so excited to be in beehives and go to girls camp this summer. She just competed in a dance competition at the high school and did a great job. By the time i got home from work she had her hair and make up done, her uniforms all ready and her costume on...I've never had a child in dance before that didn't need to have everything done for her. She even worried about the cost of one of her costumes and was trying to do a fundraiser for it. shes so organised! She cleaned, re organised and re decorated their room...its very Michaela :)

Tomorrow im taking her shopping for fabric so she can make quilts for her and Jayden. I think we will rent a good movie and enroll the boys help in tying it.
Tomorrow after the scout powpow and fabric shopping, and cleaning the church we are headed to the dizzy park with all the kids... its so nice to live in St George where you can go ice blocking in February!

I'm looking forward to iceblocking tomorrow. Jayden loved it when we went last.
