We finally get to close the book on a painful chapter of our lives. The trial was this week, after over two years everything was set, then J decided she wouldnt testify against him so the District attorney entered a plea deal.He walks away with basically a slap on the wrist. On one hand its annoying and a very typical response from her but on the other hand its over. Im glad its over.It marks the end of a chapter of my life i never imagined could happen in my family.
We have adjusted to J being gone and our family is closer than its ever been.Adam is up north competing in a computer competition with FBLA.He won first in the last competition and really is doing well.Ryan and i are working on the grad night committee.. they are going to have a one heck of a party. Its hard to believe he graduates soon.
Michaela and i went to a Young Women program last night. She graduates from primary this summer and she even gets to go to girls camp.My baby is growing up.She is delightful and always tries to make everyone happy.George the cat adores her and even runs to her when she calls, just like a puppy. At night he sleeps at the top of her head.
We have been watching cake boss on tv and decided to try it ourselves. Each of the kids could make whatever they wanted .We rocked! with a little more practise we could go into business lol.We hiked up to the waterfall at red cliffs in Leeds last week,i love hanging out with the kids.
My job is going well,it gets a little hectic working between front line and the business office but its never boring.Sometimes when i have a 5:45 am shift i remind myself its for our family vacation lol. We still have not agreed where we are going but when Adam gets home we will sit down and plan out his graduation trip.General conference was awesome last weekend,we all watched it in pj's with our traditional Cinnamon rolls. On Sunday the Easter bunny came so the kids happily ate candy most of the day :)
