Did i mention i hate mornings?and perky cub scouts.....did i mention i LOVE christmas..

the only good part to saturday mornings is the chance to buy something i dont need from someone i dont know at a garage sale. However this morning was marred by one of my very perky kids who insisted on going to a scout event. He's a morning person.im not. The end.Im all in support of scouts, dont get me wrong.. i can spit watermellon seeds with the best of em,but must they do things so EARLY? Dropping him off at the ward i saw that the rest of the little nervous morning dwellers were just as perky as he was.. i was gonna hug him goodbye but he gave me the 'moooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' look so i settled for the acceptable in public greeting. The only kid that now thinks im cool is my 10 yr old.I can honestly say im one of the coolest moms ever.. for real! i can even get this fat old body to do the splits.. impressive yes?The other kids bring their friends over all the time,i like to think its cos im the cool neighborhood mom,in reality i know its cos i feed em.Today we are painting elves.I have a neighbor on the next street who is so annoyingly competitive that i HAVE to out do him.Its the only way to show that i have MORE christmas spirit Ive allready put up 3 million yards of lights that i fully intend to set to loud music**sweet smile**.Today im going to turn my yard into a winter wonderland of christmas.. you know.. to get in the holiday spirit :)
Dh doesnt know it yet but he will be scaling the roof soon to put up my santa sled.In the middle of it all i have to drag myself down to the ward for our super saturday and make something crafty and be a real mormon woman.I actually love my ward, its full of cute ladies who make life interesting and fun. Most of them live on my street.. theyre the reason i dont need therapy. They even still like me after i confessed my life long dream of having an IV inserted of diet coke.

Maybe you should look into some sort of Diet Coke pump--like the pump I had when I was on chemo, that just pushed the drugs into my body in measured doses around the clock? Or an insulin-type pump, where you can control the amount going in...Just some thoughts in support of your Diet Coke habit. :)
