This weekend we went on our annual camping trip to Manti. It was one of the funnest trips in years.The pageant was incredible and we were glad we waited til saturday night to see it so we didnt get rained on.Friday we took the kids to the new outdoor city pool,shopping at the cfaft mall then to the campground for board games,smores and hot chocolate.I love camping.. everyone is so friendly and we met a nice family from Taylorsville.We have a tradition of taking a fun new book that dad reads at night.. we were all so worn out that i only remember the first chapter! On main street there is a hardware store that was built in 1874,i love that place :) The kids went several times to get penny candy in little paper bags-so cute! Saturday we played apples to apples,cards and other games and used penny candy as poker chips.
Despite adams insisting that the mosquitoes were all in our heads,me,michaela and stephen got bit. Poor stephen had so many bites on his legs!We wanted to go to Pallisades lake and rent the paddle boats but we ran out of time.I love family traditions!
