Ohhhhhhhh my word things are wild around here. Ive been trying to finish this post for days. So,we had a wonderful last weekend of summer at Gradys memorial, up camping with our friends and neighbors. Kolob has the most incredible scenery ever and we had so much fun. Since its 7000ft up a mtn the air was a little harder to breathe especially with recovering lungs but it was worth every minute. We went 4 wheeling and go karting and played games around the campfire and just enjoyed life. Wendee said at one point on saturday there were 47 of us up there!
Then we came home to.... a water leak and MOLD,as in BLACK MOLD yep gross. So currently we have Michaelas room,the laundry room and hallways all sealed off and we are waiting for the drywall people to come in and tare everything out and replace it.What a pain in the neck! Ive been devastated at not being able to do laundry hahahaha!
Its fall in St George,that means its in the high 70's low 80's but of course the kids all NEED sweatshirts.Since M has a school uniform we had to trek into town at 8 last night to buy a school approved cardigan.To the rest of the world this may seem trivial,but can i just tell you how excited she was to own a cardigan!!! Since we live in the desert,its rare to even need anything more than a sweatshirt in winter.This morning she was up early,excited to wear long pants AND a cardigan to school-strange kid lol. The weather is of course going back up to the low 90's by saturday but we can at least say this yr we had fall.
Since the house is being worked on and DH has to be in the office this coming week i might take the kids up to Salt Lake for a few days. The thought doesnt thrill me-five hours in the van with all the kids,snow,traffic and other irritants make for a difficult decision.Visiting family and friends and going to conference does sound fun though....
