Happy Thanksgiving

I have learned this week that Americans love turkey day :) I have learned not to say' oh we usually skip right to christmas' (this invokes looks like im just confessed im the anti christ) So by the end of the week i was even wishing patients "happy thanksgiving" lol. Heaven forbid i start another war :) Just for the record even though im not British i do cook a turkey and we are thankful for everything :)    Ok i should clarify, i dont cook the turkey dh does..... the thought of sticking my hand up... well you get the idea....

so, here are 10 things im thankful for in no particular order

1, Kids who go the extra mile to make things better

2. a dh who is brave enough to go spelunking for giblets

3.My backyard neighbor/best friend who nags/cajoles/coaxes/encourages me to have a better attitude

4.My entire backyard family who puts up with my dogs visiting and leading theirs astray,the use of their shed 
when teens throw tantrums and 'runaway',an extra dh who helps knock out kitchen cupboards,instal microwaves,fixes my screw ups, and is always a good neighbor.

5 An awesome boss who even understood and let me and Lavonna come in late when i called her at 6am in tears cos the kitty was delivering and i had no clue what to do-Lavonna to the rescue again!

6.Diet coke and chocolate... my petitiion to have it declared a food group should be approved anytime

7.friends that make me laugh

8 the power of prayer and the comforting effect it has

9. a bishop who understands/ignores #6

10. That after turkey day comes ♥ CHRISTMAS♥
