The first day of summer and the kids are bored :) We went to the park and played soccer in the hot sun,which then turned to this funky misty rain that the kids thought was awesome.Made an incredible rainbow that was so pretty!Michaela is planning her birthday party,its turning into a major source of stress for her,after five kids i pretty much am just letting her decide.Shes had several 'themes' and has settled on a pool party with a luau theme.The guest list is a tougher problem,it changes hourly.
Dad thought of an awesome cure for boredom..hes having the boys seperate their clothes out into seperate closets,drawers etc.The wails of despair could be heard for miles im sure.right now the older boys are close to the same size so its whoever grabs the cooler stuff first,josh pretty much is happy if its clean and it fits.Lately ive noticed that jenny's old clothes are making an appearance and i see alli in michaelas handmedowns lol. So tomorrow will be a massive dig out of the laundry room,a long whine about whos shirt is whos,at least 12 hair flipping grunts (it means "sure " in teenager) and in the end they will all declare they have nothing to wear!!!!!!!!!!! Josh and Michaela are sure they will die without "Cool" brand clothes.......,ill miss them.:) Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh i wish i still lived in England where the biggest decision we made was wether to wear a blazer or a sweater each day.Wonder how well uniforms would be recieved here?
