Im all for decorating for holidays but im a little sad that everyone is putting up Halloween stuff already. I feel like i missed an entire summer with being sick,i feel so much better now and ready for fun but its fall!!! ugh.ok its actually still in the 90's here but Halloween is just around the corner.I have one week before my final chest xray then im hoping im done,other than pain on the right side at night cos of scar tissue i feel finally back to normal. We had neighbors over for desert and games and all the kids played and ran around,its good to be back :)
One of my favorite ladies passed away this week,Nora was always up for anything when i worked at Beehive, but bingo was her favorite thing.When Michaela would visit she loved showing her all the beautiful dolls and things she had in her room and really loved visiting with the kids.
Steve is joining the school band to play guitar,Adam is in missionary prep class,They both are in upward bound and doing well. Josh has bought his first vending machine ($5 at brother tippetts yard sale lol)It dispenses candy for .25,he plans on buying more with his allowance next week.Michaela has now been officially changed over to her middle name Claire,and is loving school,scrap booking,embroidery and loves dance.
Great lessons in church today about how you treat other people. Do you use them or serve them?What does it mean to be a true friend?It made me realise that without the friends i have id have never gotten through this last 18 months.I get to go back to volunteering at the distribution center this week-i love helping young missionary just leaving to serve and every shift i work i meet friends i havent seen for awhile.This last yr has made me realise that nothing is more important than being humble enough to turn your problems over to Heavenly Father and admit you can do no more.The blessings that have come though this have been amazing.So ... time to get back to life,you never know how many tomorrows you have ;)

OH you cutie, it feels good to not be in pain! One of my friends was the CNA that took me down for the CT scan and i was throwing up blood and tried to take the mask off,the guy in the CT room freaked and refused to come back in. She told me yesterday they have ANOTHER lady in quarantine in the exact same situation and shes one of the few CNA's that will even work in that room :( Makes me feel like i had the bubonic plague lol.
