The final countdown

Work on grad night stuff is picking up as we quickly move towards graduation,so much to do and so little time. Adams final week of high school, unpacking,supposed to be at work in 30mins and barely have my make up done,M still doing homework that she put off all weekend,the boys fighting to get to the shower first,yep sounds like a typical Monday at our house.I joke that J's replacement family prob cleans up the dishes before bed instead of looking at ths huge mess on Monday morning. but... for the first time... im ok with it. This mess represents a weekend of fun and time spent as a family. Georges baptism,my work party at the shac,dinners out on the deck and lots of laughter...yep im ok the way we are.Things are very different this graduation. im finally learning to relax and realize i dont have to pick up the pieces....there arent any..hes put them all into his own puzzle and i just get to enjoy the picture.I love being the mom.
